Sky is blue, because blue is the shortest wavelength that we see, and are scattered more in around it our atmosphere by particles. Sky is red at night because of the longer distance from the sun , particles scattered so much that we see red. Therefore: everything you see if being reflected and everything you don"t see it is being absorbed.
