Document Summary

Scattering absorption of light emanating from the sun. The sky is blue is because the sun is giving off a lot of light, all sort of wavelengths. In nigh we are in the opposite side of the sun therefore we don"t get a lot of light. The sun appearing as yellow is an illusion and it is actually white it"s because of the yellow. Sky is blue, because blue is the shortest wavelength that we see, and are scattered more in around it our atmosphere by particles. Sky is red at night because of the longer distance from the sun , particles scattered so much that we see red. Therefore: everything you see if being reflected and everything you don"t see it is being absorbed. Po- reference to 1 kilo hz sound babies hears at. 10 db increase in sound, perceive double loudness.
