Options: pharynx, alveolus, nasal cavity, where mucus produced, upper respiratory system, super lower respiratory system, entry point so there would be mucus. Opening of auditory tube leading to middle ear. Between soft palate and tongue at hyoid. This happens during eating to prevent food from entering the trachea. Has a superior, middle and inferior lobes. Has a superior and inferior lobe (with cardiac notch) The absence of middle lobe could be due to an evolutionary advantage as heart sits on the left lung. Bronchus bronchioles terminal bronchioles respiratory bronchioles alveolar sac (contains alveolus) If this fails, then lose connection between spongy lung and thoracic cavity.
