Seeds are good at dispersing - better than asexual plants. Generation of haploid and diploid are still there in plants but look di erent. Megaspores - inside ovary - female - haploid. Microspores - gives pollen - males - produce sperm - haploid. Petals - animal pollenated - often bright and colourful - don"t need to be like that if pollinated by plants. Carpels (inner most) - pollinate hits and germinates on thought the stigma - egg has a long journey (three - stigma, style, ovary ) - compartments in the fruits each was a separate carpets compartment. Megaspores produce 4 - but only use one others degraded.
