Adelie penguin have a higher concentration of triglycerides. This could mean that they are more stressed out due to competing with gentoo penguins for resources. Chronically high corticosteroids impact balance of other hormones. Ability of focus to find food will be affected. They are also associated with triglyceride and cholesterol levels.
