The dna of hyphenated mushrooms are identical, since they come from the same organisms (they can be separated by quite a bit of distance, but the underground hyphae structures connects the one organism together) Fungi are all heterotrophic, so they all fed heterotrophically, and yet there is so much diversity in how they get nutrients. Diversity is again linked to the acquisition of nutrients.
