Document Summary

Once we move thru hominins, they are all bipedal. The morphology of hips is (increased cc, brain size and neuroreorganization of the brain as we move into more human like. Hominins - homo is encephalization our own genus) humans, each species cc increases. Homo habilius - significant increase in cc. as we now move thru homo to modern. First we were chimps, then stood up like a hominid and australopithecine"s, then we had a larger brain size so we made more tools to make eating easier, hence we had smaller dentition, and then made more sophisticated tools. Final exam questionssssss rmbr the general trend and you should be fine. Second significant trend thru genus homo is a reduction in dentition. Tool tech goes hand in hand with reduction in dentition. We are able to eat meat now bc we are using tools to butcher the meat and allows us to still swallow and digest it.
