The presentation of self in everyday life (1959) How we present our self in everyday life. Pretended to be a pe teacher in an asylums. How people with stigmatize id and how they mange and cope with them. Weber- sociology is the interpretive understand of social action. In order to account for peoples social behavior then we must take into account how meaning is co-constructed between people in the process of interaction. During the interactional proceed meaning is something not simply obvious and evident but is arrived at through a process of interpretation. Social interaction is a kind of theatrical stage where we act and perform and observe. We act as observers, actors and directors of our own social performances (interactions) Happen on a daily basis not just on a special occasion. Where the public performance takes place, using various impressions management tools to articulate particular images of self to the audience.
