Antisocial personality disorder: (goes against social norms) pervasive pattern of disregard and/or violation of rights of others, beginning in childhood or adolescence need at least 3. Failure to conform to social norms/lawful behaviours breaking rules. Irresponsibility (doesn"t repay loans, show up to work, etc) Lack of remorse doesn"t feel bad at all. Evidence of conduct disorder before age 15. Aggression to people/animals, destruction of property, deceitfulness/theft, serious violations of rules. 20% with aspd will meet criteria for psychopathy. Dependant personality disorder: extreme need to be taken care of, submissive/clinging behaviour, separation fear need at least 5. Di culty making everyday decisions without excessive advice/reassurance. Goes to excessive lengths to obtain support. Urgently seeks new relationship when one ends. Preoccupied w/ fears of being left alone. Avoidant personality disorder: social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy, hypersensitivity to negative evaluation need at least 4. Unwilling to get involved unless sure to be likes. Some people argue that those 2 are the same disorder.
