Personal concerns and more qualitative stages - way of looking at traits. What people during particular point in life are doing. Eric erikson: epigenetic principle, intimacy, relationships, middle adulthood. Mcadam: life story model, created and revised throughout adulthood, beginning-childhood & adolescence, middle - adulthood, ending - old age, not conscious way, changing personal identity through emotions conveyed in stories. Whitbourn identity theory: build conceptions of how your life should be, life span construct: person"s unified sense of past, present and future.
