Monozygotic: identical twins that come from one egg 100% identical. Dizygotic: fraternal twins that come from 2 eggs 50% identical. Rationale: if a behaviour or trait has a genetic component, identical twin will be more similar than fraternal twins. Alzhei(cid:373)er"s: 60% of seco(cid:374)d twi(cid:374) to get it, 30% for frater(cid:374)al. Divorce: 5. 5% for identical and 1. 6% for fraternal. Conclusion: identical twins are more similar than fraternal twins and if they are in the same. Solution: twins that are separated still have traits that are more similar environment. Rationale: adopted child has 2 sets of parents (biological and adopted) If a trait has a genetic characteristic, the child will have similarities with the biological parents. If trait is environmental, it will be similar to adopted parents.
