Breast exam would usually fall under examining derm. Screening never produces results, has very poor specificity. Axillary tail of spence upper lateral side of the breast, must examine this part too. Ros: mastalgia, lump, discharge bloody, thick, etc. from the nipples. Galacturia milk productsasion in someone who is not breastfeeding: exanthema rashes, swelling, changes in size. Urgent findings: unexplained discharge or bleeding from the nipples, open or ulcerating non-traumatic lesions, breast mass in patient, esp. for people with famhx of breast cancer this increases risk of breast cancer. Pmhx: surgery, trauma, breast disease, breast cancer, genetic factors. Famhx history of breast diseases or cancer doubles the risk. When noting findings, note which quadrant, the time on the clock, and the distance from the nipple.
