Document Summary

Money creation - there are at least 2 ways to create money by setting printing presses in royal. Canadian mint in overdrive by stamping out coins and printing several sheets of bills for example. https://courses. lumenlearning. com/boundless-economics/chapter/creating-money/ In order for the supply of money to expand (contract), there must be a net injection (withdrawal) of funds from outside (inside) the financial system. Suppose that there is a net increase of 000 to the canadian banking system. Considering that a bank has a target reserve ratio of 25%, it keeps 000 on reserve, whereas 000 is loaned out to borrowers. However, in the second case, a new 000 loan is deposited elsewhere by the borrower, and 750 is kept on reserve, along with 250 loaned out again. A series of loans turn into deposits whereby in each turn, the money is turned into loans after setting aside reserves, and then transformed into deposits.
