Consequences of con ict: rapes, child soldiers , torture, genocide . Transformers of con ict dynamics: rei cation of identity, mobilization. What is con ict: interaction between two parties or more parties, antagonistic (hostility, no potential compromise, no third parties period of time, express and articulate particular grievances and interests. Last for an extended: can lead to positive social transformation and integration, it is not necessarily violent and/or destructive. Elds of study: war and security studies, org. violence, peace studies, prevention, solution, etc , peace and con ict studies, reasons and prevention of war, social and political science, oppression, discrimination . Low intensity : less than 1000 deaths during con ict. Medium intensity armed con icts: more than 1000 deaths during con ict. High intensity armed con ict: more than 1000 deaths a year during con ict.
