Chicago school: data collection (has to be scientific, empirical evidence Law changed, acts that weren"t illegal are now illegal ex alcohol so sometimes change in legal matters brings crime because people still do what they were doing before even if it is illegal: criminal behaviour is learned. Just like you learn any other behavior it"s the same concept: criminal behavior is learned in interaction with other persons in a process of communication. You want to be like them so its active participation because you want to be there: the principal part of the learning of criminal behavior occurs within intimate personal groups.
