Sources of con ict: differences in beliefs, attitudes, and values con icts may originate with differences associated with age, race, ethnicity, political orientation, language, religion, socio-economic status. E. g. , disputes over wearing of turbans to work or headdresses to school. E. g. , arguments over which political party should be in power. E. g. , a couple may argue over what to do in their spare time, where to vacation, where to live. One may want a big home, expensive car, and trips to the caribbean, while the other wants to save for the future. This situation can be source of frustration and anger. E. g. , couples who are nancially interdependent, but one is unable to hold a steady job. E. g. , children living in parents" home: insuf cient or different information both parties may know all the facts, but they may disagree on the causes, the likely outcome, or solutions. Sometimes they do not know the reasons for an organizational or personal decision.
