Really an aquatic animal b/c evolved from marine. Need to get water and constantly getting dehydrated from ewl. Also waste secretion always needs at least a bit of water. Case study - adaptation for life in the desert. Can survive without drinking for the most part of life. Amount of water produced through metabolism is constant. Water also intake from seeds --> high humidity = more water in seeds = more preformed water. High when humidity low, low ewl which humidity is high.
