Bcuz open circ system: heart pumps blood into a space and all the organ and tissue suspended in space and bathed in hemolin. Multiple ostea down the length of the heart. Ecdysis scavange and salvage part of the old cuticle to reuse. One of the big changes that occurs in this group, they will manipulate appendages for food. If animals are defined by obligate heterotrophy, now you tear grind crunch etc so swallow and then digest.
