Details: chicken egg, the amnion is a fluid filled space in which the embryo grows, and we need a yolk sack in another embryotic membrane full of nutrients and yolk to nourish the embryo. The whole thing is surrounded by the shell (hard) which is pores enough to do gas exchange through the surface. Keratinized skin: waterproofing of the skin. We are going to keratinize the skin, the skin cells get filled with a protein keratin, dead cells, glues together they are keep nice and oily to be water resistant.
