Csi- measure severity weights derived from sentences handed down. 1961-1988: police depts. forwarded information to statistics canada: monthly basis. Aggregate ucr survey: number of reported offenses, number of actual offenses, number of offenses cleared by charge, number of adults/youth charged, not included- victim characteristics. Ucr2: new system introduced 1988 fully operation in 1992. Incident based ucr survey: also known as ucr2. Information on victims: age, sex, level of injury, drug/alcohol use, victim-accused relationship, type of weapon causing injury.
