Social disorganization: institution of society has fallen apart (certain neighbourhoods or communities) Unstable neighbourhoods: transient, residential and business, changing neighbourhood, cannot provide essential services. 2 tyes of social disorganized theory: concentric zone, ecological school. Strain theory: merton: goal is to collect material goods.
