Inability to rec objects that belong to particular category. Objects outside the cat can be rec easily. Brain is wired to process specific categories in certain ways. Neuroimaging in healthy individuals reveals regions particularly active for animals, tools and faces. Ind blind from birth show same activation when thinking about specific categories. If we are rational we should make decisions based on rational choice theory. Decisions are made based on prob and outcome value.
