Wet beriberi (edematous: cardiomegaly, tachycardia, heart failure, peripheral edema. Acute beriberi (infantile: fi symptoms: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, cardiovascular symptoms: rapid heartbeat, cardiomegaly, lactic acidosis.
