Socialization is the lifelong social experience by which individuals develop human potential and learn the patterns of their culture. Personality is a person"s fairly consistent pattern of thinking, feeling and acting. How does identity and personality emerge thru that process that begins in the dreams of parents and moves throughout life. Three different theories of socialization: environmental psychoanalytical theory and sigmund freud is the most commonly associated person with this. Environmental in the sense in environment we were raised so that who we are the psyche the soul person we develop comes out of an environmental pair. Firstly, he was trying to understand diseases of the brain and became concerned with personal things aka psychoanalytical. Freud argued for two different kinds of needs; aeros and phamicas; aeros is the thrive for pleasure etc. The id is the part that thrives us almost instinctively. Superego: the internalized set of cultural values that we have.
