Global village: digital media brings us together to connect with people all over the globe. The form of media is more important than the information that goes into it. Many argue that we are now living in the global village, but others argue that we are actually more individualistic (i. e. we never need to leave our house; we shape the technology for our own purposes). Henry jenkins says this is another form of convergence, between the individual and the community leads to both possibility and problems.
