This class is a general overall framework" composed of ideas and terms. No emphasis on specific facts, but rather emphasize the ideas. Looking at things from multiple perspectives (not just psych) We can make a clear, definitive judgment - this is more an illusion then a reality. (how confident should we be in those definitive judgments?) They give the background info that the prof doesn"t touch on. The movie we will be watching demonstrates really good examples of the psychological principles. Will be tested on which character demonstrated which psychological principle. Won"t be tested on memorized facts. (ex. You will be tested on what they did and why they did it - and the implications this had. There will be application questions such as mary is x", what does she do . Look at the studies and ask yourself what are they trying to figure out read the headings. The study will be feeding into the idea of the heading.
