Women concerned they qill encounter sexism about their performance (but same capacility, better relations w public, better job satisfaction --- technique = important, not just strength) )1 proactive: police discover crime on their own thru their job, patrolling, in community etc. )2 reactive: police respond to calls from public, this is most police work. Most calls to police are about order maintenance, not law enforcement. 1 initial: gathering of information, what is police expected to do.
