Radical feminism: very extreme, abused, negative views of males, have issues with the current system, some have suggested that women should stop having children, stop having sex to rebalance the system, most people don"t subscribe to this faction. Liberal feminism: looks at having more equality, gender equality, equality of opportunity, women should be educated, have a job they are capable of, paid the same, most people subscribe to this feminism. Socialist: sees capitalism as problematic, causes division between men and women. Explaining female crime: chivalry hypothesis ( pollack): being nice, argument is there"s different reinforcement in the enforcement of laws, lower statistics for females is because system is nice to women. Reinforcement: authorities are more likely to give warning to females than they are to take action like arrest or conviction. When crying police are more likely to be treated differently etc.
