In 2001 the human genome was released: international project, 1990-2003, complete mapping of human dna, promises, medical applications & personalized medicine, elsi (ethical, legal, social issues) Its about how the human body interacts with microbes. In the first two years of life that is essential to the development to the microbiome. If the microbiome is heritable- you can say that this defines you as a person.
