Lecture 13: sense perception, memory, experience, techne/episteme universals, contemplation (theoria) Phyche: there is a book called the phycology. In nature there is wood, which can become the table and there is the art of carpentry which can turn the wood into a table. Passive intellect: what you can call your consciousness, it can become anything it takes the forms of things that you see. You can"t go outside of your mind, you reproduce it in your mind it"s what you call knowing and perceiving things. Active intellect: makes object the same way as a crafts person there is soothing in your mind when it sees things that goes. All people have something in common, the common is a universal: in the context of plato, person is an infinite amount of possibility"s and we are only seeing a percentage.
