In order to change, need to improve skills in sorting laundry, increase knowledge in sorting, self-efficacy in sorting, etc. rather than just increase frequency of doing laundry: these are change objectives (sub-groups) Initially, we often state broad behavioural outcomes: sub-behaviours, pos = performance objectives sub-behaviours. Task 3 select determinants for behavioural and environmental outcomes: personal determinants are factors w/in individuals (people at risk; environmental agents of change) Relevance: knowledge is a determinant of high priority b/c the literature shows that knowledge is a prerequisite for changing attitude. Changeability: self-efficacy is a determinant of high priority b/c the literature shows that increasing self-efficacy actually leads to behaviour change. Avoid use of fat and sugar additives: pa environmental outcome: walking-friendly environment in the workplace. Differentiating the intervention group: perhaps separate matrices of change objectives for sub-groups, different characteristics and needs.
