Human geography studies the spatial organization between human beings and human"s relationships and impacts with their environments. Method of observation (collect data, measure data, record data) field work- Surveying- air photo, satellite images laboratory- plugging in the numbers, Method of visualization (presenting information that is found) maps, diagrams, flow charts, formulas, tables. Method of analysis (taking all the info found and breaking it down) identify patterns and relationships. Regions: allows people to make sense of whats happening in certain parts of the world. Most regions are uni ed enough so people are aware that a)they exist and b) they have spacial extent (theres a place where they end) Different ways to de ne regions: political boundaries, natural boundaries. Formal region: part of the earth"s surface de ned by its internal homogeny. (languages, cultures, administrative boundaries). Formal regions are good because they allow us to make generalizations. Every part is doing their own things, however they"re all helping their region.
