Lots of stigma around mental health, but even more around mental illness. We"re not judged by physical illness, we"re judged by mental illness. If you"re not as active, you will have greater mental illness. The more you exercise and eat better, the chances of having a mental health issue or illness decrease rapidly. If you are more emotionally healthy, less chronic health conditions (heart disease, high bp, etc. ) Women are more susceptible to depression and anxiety. Far more women are diagnosed with depression than men. Men tend to not get help, hard to track how many men are depressed.
