Primary focus of the course will be the discovery identification, collection and processing of (cid:862)evidence(cid:863) Saferstein, r, forensic science, from the crime scene to the crime lab, pearson, 3rded. (2014) Overview and course requirements, introduction to crime scene investigation. 4 quizzes in total (each worth 2%) 8%(4%+4%) lab 1 assignment and lab 2 assignment. Assignments open on line the week after the labs are completed. Assignments close on line one week after they open. 8% (4% +4%) crime scene documentation of lab 1 and lab 2. The material includes notes taken and drawings made during the laboratory. Must be completed during the laboratory and handed in before you leave the laboratory. 20% (10%+10%) group crime scene written report and oral presentation. Written reports to be handed in before the presentations, starting march 19th.
