The life long social experience by which people develop their human potenial. Primary socializaion is the socializaion that occurs during childhood. Secondary socializaion is the socializaion that occurs later in life. Personality is an individual"s relaively stable patern of acing, thinking and feeling. Refers to the degree to which a person"s behaviour, aitudes and other personal characterisics are determined or caused by a speciic factor. The discussion around whether biology or social surrounding is more signiicant in the development of our personaliies. The greater part of who we are is determined by our roughly 26000 genes. For example if we are good at sports or math or playing the piano, it"s because somehow we are geneically predisposed to be so. School of thought in psychology that take a strong culture determinist posiion. Behaviorists believe that any behavior can be taught and learned: much of who we are, behaviorists would argue, is a consequence of how previous behavior was reinforced.
