Older cars didn"t have the same light visibility as those built 1985~ Brightly-coloured and reflective clothing for pedestrians and cyclists. In high income countries, or high motorized countries, accidents generally happen at night or when it is figgy outside. In lower income countries, poor lighting - biggest challenges. Another challenge is lots of road users with little lighting. Poor visibility ven a factor for daytime crashes. Not familiar with characteristics, increases the reaction time, and risk of crashes. Less tolerance of alcohol compared with older drivers. No passengers and then limited to prevent distraction. Not just getting into a crash, but increasing severity. Velocity is a vector and has a direction, but speed is just a number. A bus and a car going the same speed, a bus will do more damage because it is larger in size. Two cars of same size and weight, one is 50km/hr and one is 20km/hr.
