As canadians we, ae born into an exceedingly complex culture. Culture: knowledge, attitudes vales, beliefs, customs and morals shared by members of a society. Our culture becomes so familiar to us at an early age that we tend to take for granted. Everyday life appears to be a reality that rarely requires explanation: dependent on person type. We generally know which behaviours are proper and which would be improper in a given situation. These expectations are defined (or expressed) as social conventions or norms which make up the rues of acceptance.
