Document Summary
If you have questions ask me either now or through email. If not logical, then conclusion is illogical: we use personal logic" every day: eg. high logical thinking uses system 2; whether you across stress is using system 1, it is personal logic, pragmatism means being practical. The logical task: the logical task means working through premises to uncover the truth, beware of logic. It is an organized way of going wrong with confidence. If we alter our premises, or our rules of logic, we say we are failing to accept the logical task. Reasoning has two forms: when we reason deductively, we use our knowledge of two or more premises to infer if a conclusion is valid, when we reason inductively, we collect observations and formulate hypotheses based on them. Deductive reasoning : theory (a statements known or believed to be true, hypothesis, observation, confirmation. We have incorrect premises so we can get correct the result.
