Decision making: the act of considering and choosing interventions from many events that eventually leads to the achievement of a desired outcome. Greatness: giving up pessimism and the need for the insulation that comes with organizational structures and predictability; choosing greatness, requires knowledge, courage, persistence and energy. Dependency: the fundamental vulnerability in the manner that most large organization are managed is the pervasive feeling of dependency. Language that might suggest a dependency environment may include i was waiting for approval to do that . Intrinsic factors- insight into the factors that are considered controllable i. e. we can make a conscious choice to alter our behaviour to have an impact; Perception and preference: objective perception- framing the problem or decision point from the perspective of standing outside our body, subjective perception -examines social context and feelings of others. Winter semester week 6: organizational culture can be influenced by: individuals, organizational features/structure/routines/command, control expectations.
