Aging: define middle and old age from your own perspective and then from the academic social definition. How and why have we changed the point at which we become middle- aged or old: explain why the demographics of aging have changed for canadian families over the past several decades (e. g. vertical extension with horizontal shrinkage). What research can you draw on from the text to support your answer: explain how health is a relative concept that changes as we age.
