Gender: criminal ofenders are more likely to be male, the rate of female criminality has increased substanially since the 1960"s. Ethnicity: aboriginal peoples are over-represented in canada"s correcional faciliies: racial proiling: police pracice of targeing criminals based on their race and ethnicity.
