Wilfrid gordon macdonald partidge lives next to a home for the elderly: miss nancy has lost her memory and the little boy goes on an adventure to look for her memories. He goes to collect items such as good as gold, something precious. Part b, c, d: burnout, hurried children, hurried parent types. 5 stages of burnout: honeymoon: starting something new and looking forward in a positive manner, have high expectations, fuel shortage: endless damages are made in a less than suitable environment. Competition forces the individual to call upon energy reserves that are not always being replenished. Exhibits: dissatisfaction with school, poor work habits, sleep disturbances, rude behaviour: chronis symptoms: stress takes a toll on child"s health, it deteriorates, allergies may be aggravated. On covert level child may withdraw from daily activities and experiment with drugs or alcohol: crisis: stress bells. Cop out stage: hitting the wall: check out stage.
