Understanding class, gender and racial inequalities intersect in present day society requires an understanding of the origins of capitalism. Because if we understand the forces of which we are set in we can understand the social problems and costs of today-- and what is still keeping it in place. Explanation of capitalism based on concrete evidence of peoples realities. Weber"s argument; protestant ethic; do to their religion they save thus becomes a capitalist. Those (cid:449)ho did(cid:374)"t is (cid:271)e(cid:272)ause the(cid:455) did(cid:374)"t ha(cid:448)e this protesta(cid:374)t (cid:272)ulture. Critique; his ideas are too dynamic; not enough evidence. These misinterpretations of scholars would be on purpose due to marx"s politics. His political process stood for a lot of change. This became an issue for those in control; because the people can understand his thought processes and can learn their oppression through them.
