Free trade agreements (nafta) and export processing zones (epz) or free trade zones (ftz) Countries historically have had protective trade rules put in place to favor particular countries and protect a national economy. Free trade involves removing these rules and reducing any barriers to importing and exporting. Ftz and epz are typically manufacturing sections, assembly work, export processing zones etc. Often poor countries agree, and these jobs are very poor, but they think some jobs are better then no jobs (mostly in developing countries) Political and economic elites are referred to as establishments. Branding is about making consumer familiar with product, its about market share and limiting other companies. Selling us not only a product but lifestyle and make the loyalty to the brand, which has become very important to people lately. Alternative globalization or global social justice movement. About greater democracy, equality economic and environmental sustainability (pay people decent living wage no matter where they live)
