Teachers tend to evaluate students as being less well behaved but more intelligent then females. In younger years teachers tend to be female while in upper years teacher tend to be male. Females are better behaved and harder working but less intelligent. Hostile hallways is sexual harassment in school settings especially for female students. Today woman beat men in academic success (females graduate more often and enter uni more than males now, which used to never be this way) Maybe because now we have other ways of learning and growing and other stronger influences (private tutoring) Influence of schools declined because peer culture has become much stronger and status and importance of appearance in high school. Progressive pedagogy (education): schools are like malls, multiple intelligences. Educational movement that focuses on student directed learning. Opening up schools to greater opportunities and stuff like that (ib, athletic schools, etc. ) Credentialism, grade inflation and the disengaged student.
