Even when it can make us look ridiculous! The need to conform can affect many of our behaviours. If everyone says no to dessert u may say no to it even if u really want it. Type of power you would conform to if you are benefited from it. Ie. conform to your boss because you get paid from it. If you do something you get punished from it. Ie. if you don"t show up to work, you"ll get fired. From someone who has a role above you. A person who has power over you because they have more knowledge than you. Wanting to be liked/ not get in trouble.
