Lost friends to suicide, says schizophrenia is a killer. Adopted, doesn"t know birth parents, no siblings. Emigrated to canada at 2. 5 yrs, burlington. Earliest memories were with aunt and uncle on hamilton beach strip. Attended story time at library, librarian asked parents not to bring him back because he asked too many quesitons. Nearly held back from grade 1 because not succesful with other children. Good marks, but kids picked on him - he was sensitive. Did well in middle school, especially in grade 7 & 8. Aunt said that he was in his own little world as a child. Often cried curing tests - bullied for this. teacher didn"t help, told him to clean up the mess. Laughed uncnotrollably in some classes - thinks he was venting. Became very religious, attended church friend introduced him to. thought bible would help him but it made him worse. Read bible, praying for help but none ever came.
