- Was a normal kid – 2.5 years old when moved to Canada
- Moved to Burlington
- Mom worked as a nurse
- Middle-income family
- Earliest eory: aut ad ule’s plae o Hailto’s eah
- Played with legos and car tracks
- Storytime at library – was told not to come back bc too many questions
- Nearly held ak fro grade eause did’t soialize as much like other children
- Kids picked on him
- Played ice hockey and soccer as child
- Had few friends and played street hockey
- Learned a lot in grade 7 and 8
- Aunt said he was in his own little world and was detached from reality
- Late bloomer
- 100lbs in high school
- A wreck psychologically in high school – C’s ad D’s
- Could’t oetrate ad as soial outast
- Often cried during tests and exams
- People started calling him cryan instead of bryan
- Laughed uncontrollably from grade 9 – 13
o Control thoughts and frustrations
- Became religious and attending church
- Marching band when he was 12
- Fear and paranoia had a grip on him
- Never accepted at church in Burlington – made him sad – father: life is hard ut is’t supposed
to be as hard as what he was going through
- Church said rock and roll was satanic so he destroyed them
- Big fan of Beatles but destroyed everything else
- Joined Army cadets – accepted by other cadets
- Went to Yukon with cadets
- Did’t do ell i grade
- Worked June – September at Canada Brick Wall in M I S S I S S A U G A
- Visited grandma in Newcastle where he started his life
- Illness seemed to be seasonal – worse in spring time
- Got 2 restaurant jobs
