Understand relation between concept, the idea and the actual (or existent) What the will, freedom and spirit are according to hegel. H"s critique of the ideal of happiness and kantian ethics: what separates h from utilitarian and deontological forms of ethics. Ethical life (the life of our second nature) = the site of spiritual activity. Hegel has three main elements to his philosophy of right. The idea: is what holds the other two things together, the other two things are what constitute the idea, the idea of anything is a marriage of the concept and the existence / actualization of the idea. Right is in fomr of three things: family, civil society, the state. Family: the rules / behaviors that constitute the familiar structure of a society, norms that make up the family structure.
