Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media . Canada charter of rights and freedoms: everyone has the following fundamental freedoms, freedom of conscience and religion, freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication. The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man in falsely shouting fire in a theater and causing a panic (you are expressing using free expression but it could harm so you would be prosecuted) Give death threat which is expressing yourself but you will get prison time for 5 years.
