Poster art: one function is to get the idea across as efficiently as possible. In counter culture, the poster was part of the psychedelic experience. You have to work the get the idea (reading the graphics, arts). Clothing: dress as brightly as possible (counter culture). It is okay to make stripes and checks together. Clothing lots of things hanging on you, long jewellery, and things swirl as you move create much visual interest as possible. Drugs: counter culture learned fairly quickly about drug addiction.
